Tara Miliziano-Crowley has been working with horses since at the age of 6 riding western. As soon as she was old enough to drive a wheelbarrow, Tara was cleaning stalls and tack in exchange for riding lessons.At age 12, she became involved in 4-H and was introduced to the world of Dressage and Eventing. After high school Tara attended Delaware Valley College and completed their four-year equine science program with a Bachelor of Science degree. Since graduation she has been working with PJ Crowley training and competing horses in Zionsville. Tara has continued her education at Lehigh Valley Healing Arts Academy, where she received her human massage certification and continues to work towards a national license for massage. Her most recent accomplishment is the completion of the advanced equine massage/muscle therapy course taught by acclaimed massage therapist Mike Scott. This unique intensive three-month course is the only one of its kind inthe U.S. to be certified through a nationally accredited school for massage - the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, Mass. Tara also works with a Respond Magnetic Pulse Blanket and Laser for horses. She looks forward to continuing her education in various techniques and therapies. In March 2002, Tara opened her own massage therapy business.
PJ Crowley III has been long lining, riding and driving horses since his early teen years. His credentials are wide and varied and include horse show groom, facility manager, clinician, equine transporter, exhibitor, competitor, equine and carriage consultant. In addition, he has also lectured, trained and instructed long lining, riding, and carriage driving. He is proficient at schooling horses and ponies of all breeds and disciplines in a safe, effective manner. He also provides consulting services for carriages and has a working relationship with his family-owned award-winning antique carriage restoration shop. The shop received the Carl Casper Award award in 2003. This award is one of the two top awards in the nation for carriage restoration.
PJ established Kendalwood Farm LLC as a competitive equine training facility in 1996. Since then Kendalwood has grown and expanded its services to facilitate many top-notch horses and competitors. PJ has received multiple awards at various horse shows around the country and in Canada for combined driving, single, pair, tandem, random, pleasure four-in-hand, unicorn and coaching, including:
