massage has long been used to relax muscle spasms, increase oxygen, release waste from muscle, lengthen muscle fibers, relieve pain, increases cellular metabolism, encourage healing, help prevent fatigue, reduce anxiety, stimulate circulation, encourage more elastic muscle and more! it is a necessity for our equine athletes to have every opportunity to stay fit, healthy, and injury free to ensure longevity for a pleasure or competitive career. as responsible horse owners, we have a duty to do everything in our power to keep our animals fit and educate ourselves to be better horsemen and women. tara offers massage sessions on and off the farm for your convenience. she is a certified massage therapist trained by the lehigh valley healing arts academy and an equine sports massage/muscle therapist trained by mike scott, author of the principles of equine massage therapy.
